WISH LIST
Please help! We need your donations! The great influx of cats arriving daily has deleted our litter supply. We use Non-Clumping clay litter.
A complete Wish List can be found under "Ways You Can Help"
Volunteer!
Our Humane Society volunteers assist the shelter animals and staff in many different ways and their help is truly appreciated! The reward gained from caring for shelter animals is only outdone when an animal finds a new and loving home. To apply for a volunteer position, please download the Volunteer Application or stop by the shelter during business hours to pick one up. Areas of interest where volunteers are especially helpful are:
- Fundraising Events/Special Events
- Dog Walking
- Helping with Morning Dishes/Laundry
- Educational Events/Community Outreach
- Yard Work/Maintenance
- Cutting out Dog Bandanas
- Holiday Supplies and Pet Food Drive
- Mailings
- Unfolding Newspapers (Used daily as animal bedding)
While we are usually able to accommodate everyone with a desire to help, sometimes due to time, space, or other constraints, we are unable to provide volunteer opportunities to all who request them. Please Note: Volunteers under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in activities that involve direct contact with the animals.
